What is Market Day?

Market Day's mission is raising funds for education.  Since its inception 30 years ago, Market Day has raised over $350 million for America's schools.  Market Day offers a Family of Fundraisers™ including its flagship monthly food program as well as brochure, cookie dough, and candy bar fundraising opportunities.  Market Day was founded on the spirit of giving back to the community, and today is the nation's largest food fundraising company.

How does Market Day work?

With its extensive selection of high quality foods, Market Day makes planning easy.  Each month Market Day offers 200 convenient and nutritious products at competitive prices, including poultry, meats, seafood, family meals, appetizers, breakfast items and desserts.   Order sheets are distributed each month with the St. Luke School newsletter.   Families can order online at their convenience at www.marketday.com, or complete the order sheet and return it to the school office.  Our online school account number is 5769.  Market Day delivers to St. Luke School once a month, and families can pick up their order on a designated date and time, generally the following Saturday morning at 10:30 AM.

A percentage of each family's order is provided back to St. Luke School, and these funds are used to pay for playground equipment, musical instruments, library books and more.

Why should I participate?

Market Day supports St. Luke School, providing additional funding for important educational resources.  In addition, many families view Market Day as a service, helping to meet their grocery shopping needs each month.  While many families try Market Day to help St. Luke School, they continue to buy because they love the food!  Many items are exclusive to Market Day and not available in retail stores.
