AUTOMATIC BILL PAYMENT
You can setup an electronic donation to St. Luke through your bank or credit union. Without writing a check, the procedure allows you to schedule a donation on a regular basis of your choice (weekly, monthly). There are no fees to either you or the church for the transaction. Call to learn your banking institution’s setup procedure. Often, you simply designate St. Luke as a ‘payee’, use your envelope number as the account number, and give the parish address as the vendor address.

St Luke Parish has partnered with myEoffering to provide you with the convenience of making online contributions to our parish ministries, special collections, and feast days without writing checks or worrying about cash donations.  You create a username and password and schedule various donations or make a one-time donation.  Like online bill pay, you have complete, 24/7 control over your donaton(s) from either your personal banking account or credit cards using a computer or mobile device.  Fees can by paid by the church or donator.  MyEOffering is hosted by Church Budget Envelope, our envelope company.  The data is processed and protected by Key Bank.  MyEOffering at [email protected] or 877-393-3330.

 IRA DISTRIBUTION
If you are 70½ years old or older, you can donate up to $100,000 as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your own IRA or individual retirement annuity directly to St. Luke without having to pay income taxes on the money. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions. If you have not yet taken your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year, your IRA charitable rollover gift can satisfy all or part of that requirement. The IRA trustee/custodian must make the check out to St. Luke.  St. Luke will issue an acknowledgement for the contribution.
 
WILL OR LIVING TRUST - CHARITABLE GIFT BEQUEST
By including a BEQUEST to St. Luke Church in your will or living trust, your gift supports a future parish ministry and entitles your estate to an unlimited federal estate tax charitable deduction.  Language can be as simple as “I, [name], of [city, state ZIP], give, devise, and bequeath to St Luke Parish in Beavercreek OH [an amount or gift description] for its unrestricted use and purpose."
A variety of TRUSTS can be set up to benefit personal family members as well as one’s faith family at St. Luke. Several types of trusts include a:
·        CHARITABLE LEAD TRUST -- disperses income to St. Luke Parish, typically for a set number of years. Then the trust remainder is dispersed to the grantor or his or her family.
·        CHARITABLE REMAINDER UNITRUST -- disperses to one or more beneficiaries a variable income for life, then any remaining funds to St. Luke Parish.
·        CHARITABLE REMAINDER ANNUITY TRUST – disperses to one or more beneficiaries a fixed amount, typically for life, then any remaining balance to St. Luke Parish.    
 
STOCK & MUTUAL FUND ASSET DONATION      
MUTUAL FUNDS and gifting shares of DTC Funds can be donated to St. Luke via the Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS) by providing your Mutual Fund Company:▪ the ticker/cusip for the mutual fund, ▪ the number of shares you wish to donate, ▪ the full 14 digit account number plus two letter acronym: 01010004471751CB, the parish name: St Luke Beavercreek, and the donor’s name in the COMMENTS field.  If needed the PARISH TAX ID is: 31-0589342.

Direct Registration STOCK (DRS or book entry) can be donated to St. Luke.  Please contact Bruce Guindon at [email protected] with your name and number of shares and ticker symbol being considered.  He will coordinate the transfer with Fifth Third Bank
  
DESIGNATED DEATH BENEFICIARY
A beneficiary designation upon one’s death can name St. Luke to receive assets such as retirement plans and life insurance policies or real estate. You simply fill out a form that is entirely separate from your will that can be reviewed and adjusted anytime you want. It is an easy way to donate to the parish. Gift examples include:
·         REAL ESTATE - the transfer of the ownership of property by deed to St. Luke.
·         APPRECIATED PROPERTY - a gift of appreciated property, such as marketable securities or tangible personal property, to St. Luke.
·         RETAINED LIFE ESTATE - a gift arrangement where a donor deeds a personal residence to St. Luke and retains the right to live there for life.
·         LIFE INSURANCE - a gift of the ownership of a life insurance policy to St. Luke.
·         RETIREMENT PLAN - a gift of part or all of an IRA or retirement plan account to St. Luke.
 
MEMORIAL, SCHOLARSHIP, AND TRIBUTE
At present, four memorials that annually benefit St. Luke School have been set up. You can establish a scholarship, memorial or tribute gift to honor a deceased loved one to support a specific ministry or mission of St. Luke Parish or School that your loved one valued. You also can establish a scholarship, memorial or tribute gift for a living loved one to celebrate a special occasion such as an anniversary. Such a gift will be a lasting accolade to your loved one and make a difference in the lives of fellow parishioners who are served.
 
YEAR-ROUND COMMUNITY REWARD PROGRAMS
You can enroll at Kroger.com in the KROGER PLUS CARD COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM designating St. Luke School to receive a percentage of your purchase every time you shop. Go on line, or call the school office, 426-1733, ext. 401 to register, using code 80224.
St. Luke School also receives income from a RECYCLE REWARDS PROGRAM. You can donate empty laser ink cartridges, inkjet cartridges and used cell phones to support the school religious education mission to the school office.
