ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS - The St. Luke Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society is committed to serving the poor and helping to alleviate their suffering. We and 30 other Conferences are part of the Dayton District Council. Our conference covers much of the Beavercreek area and some other parts of Greene County, but we do provide assistance to other area conferences and to the homeless shelters in Dayton and Xenia.
CASSEROLE MINISTRY - SEE BELOW!!
Our Mission is to bear witness to Christ and His Church by assisting families materially and spiritually on a person to person basis.
Our Ministry includes:
• Home visitation to those in need.
• Helping with household expenses as needed (gas, electric, water, rent, and other needs).
• Gathering and delivering food to the St. Vincent de Paul Shelters through our "Cans for the Hungry" donations from parishioners.
• Our “Adopt a Family” Program at Christmas.
• Annual "Christmas Giving Tree Project" for four nursing homes in the area and delivering of the gifts.
• Twinning financial support with Bolivia, South America.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 7 PM in Bishop Ford Hall. Meetings are about one hour long and focus on the spirituality of our ministry and discussions of current and planned programs along with the disbursement of our financial help to those in need.

QUESTIONS
What do I have to do?
It’s easy! Sign up, take a pan, and choose a recipe from the list provided. Put casserole together, but DON’T BAKE IT. Drop off your frozen casserole on the drive thru drop off date. Done!
What if I don’t know how to cook?
No experience required! Simply follow the recipe instructions provided (or team up with some friends). No baking required! The shelter will cook the casserole on the day it’s served. Prayers for our neighbors in need are also appreciated.
How do I drop off my Casserole?
Parishioners will be able to drop off their casseroles at our Drive-Thru drop off on designated Saturdays from 10:00am to 10:30am in the Bishop Ford Hall Parking Lot (near the school playground). The casserole’s will be delivered by St. Luke - St. Vincent de Paul Volunteers to the Shelter on the same day for our neighbors in need.
Who can I call with casserole questions or concerns?
