ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS - The St. Luke Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society is committed to serving the poor and helping to alleviate their suffering. We and 34 other Conferences are part of the Dayton District Council. Our conference covers the Beavercreek area and Greene County, but we do provide assistance to other area conferences, to the homeless shelters in Dayton and Xenia, and the St. Vincent de Paul Pantry located in the city of Dayton.

Our Mission is to bear witness to Christ and His Church by assisting families materially and spiritually on a person to person basis.
Our Ministry includes:
• Home visitation to those in need.
• Helping with household expenses as needed (gas, electric, water, rent, and other needs).
• Gathering and delivering food to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry through our "Cans for the Hungry" donations from parishioners.
• Collecting clothing and household items for those in our local area and in the Dayton area with “Bundle Sunday Collections”.
• Our “Adopt a Family” Program at Christmas.
• Annual "Christmas Giving Tree Project" for four nursing homes in the area and delivering of the gifts.
• Sponsoring monthly Bingo games at 4 local nursing homes. • Twinning financial support with Bolivia, South America.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 7 PM in the Jansen Center. Meetings are about one hour long and focus on the spirituality of our ministry and discussions of current and planned programs along with the disbursement of our financial help to those in need.
